Our award-winning programs are offered throughout the school year. Students register per season, and cost should never be a reason why a student can’t attend

In 2015, what began as a search for a local program for my daughter, resulted in the formation of our elementary school’s first Model UN
Model United Nations (Model UN or MUN) is an authentic simulation of the United Nations in which students act as country delegates and engage in acts of diplomacy, negotiation, and decision making. Students prepare by researching their assigned country and their country’s position on international issues.
Global Classrooms DC (GCDC) is the flagship education program of the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA), and is part of a nationwide initiative to strengthen relations between the US and the UN. GCDC provides an expansive curriculum curated by partnering UN agencies in the DC area.
Global Minds, LLC registers participating schools with GCDC.
GCDC holds a training conference in the fall and a Model UN conference at the U.S. State Department in the spring.
This exciting program teaches students how to improve research, writing, public speaking, and negotiation skills. Students will build cultural awareness, cultivate their global citizenship through learning about international issues and the work of the United Nations.
